Education
Education

We believe an education is achieved with more than just a textbook. As such, our flagship African education programs empower young people to help unveil their full potential and deepen their desire to learn.

With $12.8 million invested across 16 countries with two NGO partnerships, our programs equip students in Africa’s primary schools, high schools and tertiary institutions with the knowledge and skills that every child deserves.

Quality Basic Education

Through a partnership with the Discovery Channel Global Education Partnership, The Coca-Cola Africa Foundation is establishing 132 learning centers in nine countries, benefitting over 200,000 students. So far we have trained more than 5,180 teachers and provided over 435,000 community members with access to information.

Scholarships

The Coca-Cola Africa Foundation’s partnership with the Zawadi Africa Education Fund is providing scholarships to academically gifted girls from disadvantaged backgrounds in Africa to pursue higher education in the United States at schools such as Yale, MIT and Harvard.

Transformational Leadership

Additionally, The Coca-Cola Africa Foundation’s partnership with the Africa America Institute (AAI) is helping to provide scholarships to SME (Small and Medium Enterprises) and NGO (non-governmental organization) managers in Africa to pursue higher education in the United States, Canada, Kenya and South Africa at schools such as Yale, MIT and Harvard.
